KŌ Kolletive Strategic Planning Hui
It's not often that we hard-KŌ Trustees all get to be together in the same room. It's a special time of reflection, contemplation and sharing ideas and kōrero. We enjoyed one of these divine moments mid-March 2021. Our kaupapa - to reflect on our journey to-date as the context for framing our future path. We heard from Cherry, Bobby, Faithe and Annette about the whakapapa of KŌ Kollective Trust - the wonderful legacy of the Opotiki Maori Women's Welfare League - one of service to, and for the benefit of whanau in need. For those of us that remember the time a "smart phone" was a telephone connected to the wall with push buttons, we were both blessed and schooled by Graeson Papuni-McLellan on the potential of social media to reach and engage new audiences. Some of us 'dinsoaurs' even practiced our posting on our KŌ socials! . Finally, I provided a snapshot to-date of our community and we shared some of the results of He 'Tirohanga Pae Ora' - our Opotiki Community kõrero mahi. We finished up our session reflecting on our values - what makes us who we are, and how we strive to demonstrate our ngakautanga in the work we do every day in our awesome Opotiki Community.
