Innovation & Collaboration
Building the evidence base of what works for whānau...

Her Haven I Creating space for wāhine to breathe,
heal & flourish
Her Haven is an eight-week activation designed to uplift & empower wāhine.
It's a safe, culturally-grounded space for wāhine to connect, reflect & work towards personal goals.

next intake below.
Wāhine Ora, Whānau Ora.

Disconnect to Reconnect
We've partnered with Te Kapa o Waioeka to explore Kapa Haka as a cultural therapy to minimise gambling harm in our community.
Focussing on strengths is leading to more effective engagement with whānau.
We are learning that help-seeking behaviour is more likely when services are designed with lived-experience, are culturally safe, & easy to access.

Te Uru Kahika I He ara whakamana i ngā rangatahi
We recently collaborated with Te Pou Oranga o Whakatōhea to deliver Te Uru Kahika - a rangatahi-led initiative designed to build leadership, te reo Māori, & positive relationships.
We learned that Rangatahi want more opportunities to connect & grow in safe & positive environments.
If you or someone you know, would like to be considered for our next intake

Supporting whānau to redeem wellbeing through sport
Building whānau capacity & capability to support themselves through Mana Motuhake is central to Kō Kollective's strategic objectives.
We are proud to support
Õpōtiki Redeemers Rangatahi Sports & Fitness in their pursuit of whānau-led wellbeing.

Pātea I Kia mahitahi te kaupare i ngā taumahatanga o te mate petipeti
We were privileged to
attend the launch of Pātea,
a ground-breaking digital platform designed by Māori, for Māori, to help free whānau from the
burdens of gambling harm.
